FOM to attack President Gayyoom in Yew York

Friends of Maldives is planning to attack the President of Maldives during his visit to New York just like they tried to do in Geneva which was unsucessful. The President is in New York city to attend the United Nations High-Level Plenary Meeting of the 60th Session of the General Assembly. The High-Level Plenary Meeting is scheduled to commence today at 6 pm local time.

MDP, FOM and other anti Maldivian organizations are angry and fuc*ed up because the presidnet's visit is going on smoothly and all other leaders attending the meeting have not shown any interest to what MDP is saying.
Last night, the President and the First Lady attended a dinner, hosted by US President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, in honour of the participants of the 2005 World Summit. The President met with US President George W. Bush and extended condolences on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives on the loss of life and devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. President Bush thanked the President for the symbolic donation made by the Maldives to the relief efforts in the US following the natural disaster. He also inquired about the progress of the ongoing post-tsunami national recovery programme in the Maldives.
