Have we forgotten that 19 innocent lives were sacrificed for this great nation of ours on that day? Have we forgotten that dark and evil day? Well I haven’t. Let me refresh your memory if you have.
It all began (for us who were in Male’) at around 4am local time. When the mercenary vessel T-52 disembarked its killers near “No1 jetty” behind the then “Dhoshimeynaa building”. Luthfee was in command of this vessel. Within 15 minutes they attacked the NSS HQ. The brave Shaheedh Hussein Adam returned fire, and it was due to his courage that we do not speak in Tamil today. He alone held the mercenaries back till the alarm was raised. This fire fight went on for some eleven hours. The residents of Male’ had went through hell, both physically and mentally. Although a lot of the mercenaries were killed, 19 of our own were brutally killed on that day. For what? It was for a simple reason. Some influential people, namely Sikka and Umar Jamal wanted the Presidency for themselves. They used Luthfee and Sagarey as pawns.
Sikka provided Luthfee with vital information on how and when to attack Male’. He also financed the whole operation. But he is a free man today. He is an active member of the MDP. The current chairperson of MDP, Nasheed is related to Sikka by blood. And as the saying goes, blood is definitely thicker than water.
Also Umar Jamal is one of the most active MDP personels in Sri Lanka. Why should they be free and why do maldivians accept him of other being set free? Why can such a murderer he sit in a coffee shop drinking a cup of coffee, smoking a cigarette and laugh, why why why?
We know that Sikka is actively involved in financing the MDP and its operations. We would like to point out that we are amazed that Ibura of all people is involved with these people. Has he forgotten that Sikka and them nearly killed his old father when he was taken as a hostage on the vessel, Progress Light? Shame shame. It tells us a lot about ibura himself. He is prepared to side with his father’s assassins for power.
Do we want MDP and Sikka the terrorist to win? Now that MDP has lost support in the Maldives will they try and bring more armed terrorists to achieve their goal? Their undying lust for power….they are all blood sucking murderers in my opinion, feel free to think what you want….you decide.
